Last month, we were proud to accept the nomination for Best Pizza at the 2020 Gold Plate Awards. 
This is the third year in a row that our  pizzeria has been nominated for the award.
Since moving from Greenwood Pizza, Boulevard Pizzeria’s owners Tony, Mary and Dion Cestrilli have been sharing their lives and values with their community for more than 25 years.

10 Fun Facts About Boulevard Pizzeria

  1. Founder Tony Cestrilli started his first store, Pizza Napoli, in 1967. Its most famous pizza, The Napoli is still found on our menu today.
  2. Tony Cestrilli has been making pizza so long that when he started the most common question asked was “Whats pizza”.
  3. Boulevard Pizzeria has three generations of pizza makers
  4. Each pizza on our gourmet pizza range is named after a grandchild. If Princess Margharita has pizza named after her then our grandchildren will too!
  5. Our dough is made daily using filtered water. Then put to sleep for 48hrs. Lucky dough.
  6. Tony Cestrilli founded the hugely successful business Greenwood Pizza in 1978. His customers still drive all the way  to city beach to have Perth’s best pizza.
  7. Tony Cestrilli has sold over 2,000,000 pizzas in his 50 years in the industry.
  8. Boulevard Pizzeria was was originally named Pizza Pasta Boulevard and has been continually owned by the family since 1996.
  9. Our location is at the Empire Village Shopping Centre in City Beach. It was the original athletes food village of the Empire and Commonwealth Games held in Perth in 1962.
  10. Actor David Prowse competed in the weight lifting at the 62′ Empire Games eating at the Athletes food village daily. He went on to play one of the most iconic movie character of all time, Darth Vader.
